Remember that iPhone indie games sale? The devs behind it did rather well, earning themselves a tidy package and giving plenty to charity in the process. As a sort of celebration, Adam Saltsman has decided to give away the source code for Canabalt.

Available from the Semi Secret blog, the source includes the game code, Flixel for iOS, graphics, sound effects, and music. Just click the huge 'Download Canabalt Source' on the blog post to get started.

The sale made a grand total of $25,350.25 for charity - a pretty fantastic total when you consider that each of the games in the sale were selling for 99c each, and a third of the money was going to charity. It's definitely worth reading Adam's post, as he goes into a few details about Canabalt's sales statistics, and full details about the open source.
