"I am getting closer to my Gameplay Complete milestone. The bulk of the game design is now more-or-less there, in the sense that you can go and solve all the puzzles and they are basically the body of puzzles that will be in the final game."
"Taking inspiration from a lot of sources, you could be forgiven for thinking that Terraria looks like a 2D Minecraft clone at first, but even from the limited information and gameplay footage so far, it goes a lot deeper than that."
"Add another title to the growing list of ambient, silhouetted indie games that have released lately (e.g. Limbo, NightSky), though this one is less a platformer and more a slow-paced game of exploring different choices, with secrets to unlock and endings to reflect about."
"Capsized will be released for digital download on April 29th. It'll be released on Steam for $9.99, and for download on our website. A free demo will be released on the same day."
"Sivak is working on a Battle Kid sequel subtitled Mountain of Torment, which will have a redesigned HUD and new features like teleporters, wall gripping, a heart meter, a Super Meat Boy-esque death counter, and more."
"The full Indie episode of the Bonus Round is up now. Jonathan Blow, Chris Hecker and Markus Persson talked to us about what it really means to be an independent video game developer in today's world."
"This week we're checking out Cathode Rays, Stalwart, and Steamlands. We've also got voting results from last week's competition between Beneath the Waves, Bosses Forever, and The Iconoclasts."
"I released a tool to help with texturing 3D models recently, there's a free version and it may help with your projects if you find you normally spend too long texturing your 3D models."
