Browser Game Pick: BioGems (MochiGames)

BioGems is the first game from MochiGames' in-house dev team, and it's a cross between match-3 and turn-based battling, similar to the likes of Puzzle Quest and such. As you match specific symbols in the grid, your character will perform a set of actions either to boost his stats or attack the enemy.
It's turn-based, so once you've done your bit, the enemy then gets to have a go at you too. Compared to other games like this, there's a serious amount of depth, with health, energy, a rage meter, defensive stats and some other things to watch out for. It's also lovingly polished and, as a result, feels very rewarding to play. Between matches, you can then use your gems to buy upgraded stats for beating more powerful enemies.
The only problem I can see is that there doesn't appear to be any multiplayer. That would have really rounded up the package! BioGems is great fun whether you like match-3 or not - check it out.
