Based on an original idea by Sean Flannigan, Dire Haven is a browser-based 2D platformer that features naked people of both genders, randomly picked for the obstacle run whenever their predecessor succumbs to a spike trap or spinning sawblade. The main campaign mode presents twenty levels to play through, and for a harder challenge there's the expansion pack that you can attempt to beat as well.

At least one character has a special ability that makes him different from the rest, and you can safely stand next to a spike trap if you're positioned really close the the edge of a platform. The total time taken to complete the game and a rating will be presented on screen when you reach the end of your adventure. Note that you can also run in Dire Haven (hold the shift key), something which might have made playing through the game a lot easier for me if I had remembered about it.

Dire Haven is available to play at Newgrounds.
