It's entirely possible that you missed Explodemon the first time around, as it launched on PSN back in February and didn't exactly gather much attention. Fortunately, developer Curve Studios has clearly listened to all our regular PC gamers who moan about console games never coming to the desktop computer, and has announced that the game will see a Windows release next month.

A quick recap of what the game is about - you are an unstable robot who must explode frequently so as to cool himself down. He also talks absolute nonsense, and must stop the evil Vortex from taking over the city. Just don't say it sounds like 'Splosion Man - there's a whole, tense history running through the veins of that comparison.

Explodemon will be available to purchase from GamersGate, GetGames, Direct2Drive and the Curve Studios website sometime next month.
