I don't usually post about games for which there aren't yet many details in terms of graphical style or gameplay footage, but Whiskey Planet has got me rather intrigued. An upcoming free browser game, you join up with a faction and then try to survive for as long as possible.

Rather than me simply reiterating what developer Christopher Postill has to say, you're best to watch the above video, as that provides a great overview of what he wants to achieve with the game. Apparently it's already close to being done, and now just needs new visuals and some balancing.

As long as the game receives enough funding, an alpha for the game should be available sometime next month, and the final version will be released by October at the latest.
