Originally coded in HTML5, Ido Yehieli's first commercial roguelike Cardinal Quest now has a playable demo online for you to check out. The three-level preview is posted on both Kongregate and his own personal site, cardinalquest.com, so if you can spare a couple of minutes do pop on over and give it a quick look.

Having had a go at it myself (both the demo and full game), I certainly like the auto-equip function that accessorizes your character with the best loot, but the lack of a save feature is a bit of a worry for players who prefer their dungeon excursions in bite-sized sessions.

The full version of Cardinal Quest costs $4.45 to purchase, and is available to play on Windows, Mac and Linux.
