While I'm still impatiently waiting for BabyCastles to catch on in other countries, it still warms my heart to see something of a similar vein spring up at Albany, New York. One day, the world will be conquered by neo-retro video game arcades!

Arcane Kids Arcade is, according to the Kickstarter information, a DIY showcase for amateur and indie game developers that is being run over at the Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute. Weekly events are also common here at the event, something that offers a bit more focus on the development aspect of things.

But that's just background information, I hear some of you cry. What about the money? What do they want it for? Well, it seems like they want lights, warpaint, building materials, controllers, more PCs, web hosting and a patridge in a pear tree.

Arcane Kids Arcade is asking for $1000 and they have 29 days to go. If you're inclined towards helping to pepetrate the cycle of development, why not drop a dollar there?
