Browser Game Pick: Antagonist (Jonathan Whiting)
September 20, 2011 3:00 PM | Michael Rose
Mr. Jonathan Whiting of Stalwart, Collateral, Love Letter - oh, a whole bunch of games really - has released a couple of smaller more prototypey sorts of games. One of these is Antagonist, and it's about running for your life from huge spinning top things that want to grind you into the ground.
The protagonist's movement is purposely awkward, with each jump slowing you down and bringing you closer to your doom. The spinning top baddies will warp into existence around you and hunt your down until you're out of reach. It's a bit tense, and well worth a play.
After you've given that a go, you might also want to check out Knoss, a horror game made for Mini Ludum Dare 29 that feels very much in the same vein as Andrew Shouldice's Hide from last month.
