Trailer: Chivalry - Medieval Warfare (Torn Banner Studios)

While the Society of Creative Anachronism might be a boon to medieval enthuasists, there's still nothing quite like the splatter of raw, red digital blood. At least, that's what Chivalry: Medieval Warfare would have us believing. A first-person medieval online combat game out to deliver the intensity of "epic hollywood medieval blockbusters" to gamers everywhere, Chivalry will throw players into the middle of a conflict between the Agathia Knights and the newly formed Mason Order as both factions war for control of Agatha.
It looks like there will be quite a number of classes available to the discerning gamer and a fair selection of weapon. What has me fairly intrigued is the complex-seeming combat system. You'll be able to dodge, duck, evade, block, parry and possibly enact more combat oriented moves? I'd hope so. Still, nothing is quite as satisfying as a well-executed decapacitation.
In addition to all this, it looks like there will be siege engines to deploy, experience to gain, titles to earn and a customization option. Sadly, it doesn't look like that there'd be a single-player component to Torn Banner Studios' upcoming title but at least there'll be a fair enough of gore!
