Tower22 is an upcoming horror survival game that focuses on delivering a gripping story and chilling atmosphere, set in the upper levels of a Soviet era-style apartment. It's been in development for quite a while, although we're not really sure how much work has went into it since the video above made its appearance on the internet late last year.

In Tower 22 you play as Robert, a caretaker who lives in a seemingly-abandoned apartment building. You receive instructions from your supervisor from time to time, but lately he's been absent and there are no apartment occupants to speak with as well. Sensing something strange, Robert must explore the building to figure out what's going on and how he's to escape from this nightmarish place.

The designer of Tower 22, Rick Nieuwlaat, is a plumber by trade. We're assuming that's how the idea for locations in the game came about, considering that he's spent some time in at least a couple of creepy basements before. Julio Iglesias is in charge of the concept art, and you can find a couple of his painted works over here. Other team members involved in the Tower 22 project include Jesse Maccabe (environment artist), Sergi Lluch (modelling) and Robert Brown (whose credited work includes F.E.A.R. 3, or F.3.A.R. if you prefer).
