Don't make the same mistake I made. Don't play Rebuild 2 before you sleep. Especially if you're susceptible to the whole 'one more turn' thing. Trust me on this. A turn-based survival-simulation set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, Rebuild 2 isn't all that much different from its predecessor. Though it boasts of an improved UI, new skills, an equipment system and various other neat little things, it's essentially more of the same. But then again, why break a winning formula? The original was an addictive little gem and the same can definitely be said about its sequel.
To recap for those who have yet to catch win of the franchise, Rebuild 2 will have you playing as the leader of a rag-tag band of survivors. Your mission, obviously, is to make sure everyone (and consequently yourself) survives. To accomplish this, you will have to reclaim your city, one building at a time, maintain living quarters and manage the acquisition of rations, deal with raiders, hungry dogs and of course, the living dead. Deaths will happen, regardless of how carefully you watch over your little flock.
Rebuild 2 is a nice change of pace and a bit of a guilty pleasure. There's a part of me that doesn't want to like it because it's yet another zombie game but the rest of me can't help but play on. I only have 5 more buildings to reclaim, after all..
