We were definitely late to the party with this one but better late than never, right?
Over the last few months, SkyGoblin has been hard at work producing a fancy, high-definition version of The Journey Down: Over the Edge. I'll have to admit. While I'm thrilled about the prospect of hearing Bwana and Kito banter with one another, I would have much preferred news of the second chapter but I'll take what I can get. Still, that doesn't change the fact that the HD version of Over the Edge looks magnificent.
Asides from voice acting, the HD version will also feature pre-rendered 3D versions of the characters, compatibility with larger screen resolutions, a few new puzzles and even a couple of new rooms to investigate. In short, there's quite a bit to look forward to.
Sadly, as is often the case with such things, no release date for the HD version has been announced yet.
You can find the development blog here. As an added bonus, there are also a few screenshots and videos below the cut.
