Like Yume Nikki, the eerie Japanese title that the game pays homage to, .flow is disturbing but not in a conventional way. At first glance, it can feel like a somewhat primitive attempt at an RPG Maker title. Nonetheless, it all starts getting rather unnerving after a while as the viscera continues to build and the characters grow progressively stranger.

As far as I can tell, there isn't a solid plot here. You play as Sabitsuki, an inhabitant of a somewhat dreary little room. And your objective is to collect 25 different effects. Many of these are purely cosmetic in nature but a few can be used to help you elude enemies or get into spaces you were unable to access before.
