Development for Glorious Trainwrecks' Pirate Kart V: The 2012-in-one Glorious Developers Konference Kollection has begun this weekend. Trainwrecks' Kickstarter made its funding goal, and the organizer has secured GDC Play floor space, where Pirate Kart V will demo.
There is actually no deadline to enter, as the kart's launcher will continue to download games even while at GDC. As of this writing, developers have contributed 351 games to Pirate Kart V.
Many have recommended Michael Brough's Game Title and the harder Game Title: Lost Levels, top-down Metroid-esque dungeon crawlers, where players have only one hit point. Kudos to the developer, who was patient enough to help me troubleshoot playing the game on my ancient laptop. Also, feel free to give Terry Cavanagh's Hexagon a whirl.
With that said, developers can feel free to pimp their Pirate Kart V entry and readers can pimp their favorites in the comments below!
