Freeware simply because this playable alpha version is free to try, but developer Evan Todd says his plans for this blocky first person parkour game are to eventually release it as charity software when it's finished.
The lazy description of this game would be something along the lines of Mirror's Edge meets Minecraft, although it's also got sweet physicsy kicking, and a neat bit of storytelling by way of mysterious text messages.
It's a little bit rough around the edges, particularly I think the controls and level design need quite a bit of work, but that's to be expected with the first playable build of a work in progress game, and it seems rather ambitious to me.
More details, include a blog and download link for the alpha version over at the Lemma website. What do you reckon of this?
