Slydris_web2.jpg Luke Schneider of Radiangames has taken to his blog to give a status report following on from the Quadtastic Launch Collection. It's a mixed bag of good news, bad news, and interesting future developments.

He revealed "that the Quadtastic Launch Collection wasn't as big a success as I'd hoped", clocking in only a few hundred sales. For his next project, he's making "one big new game", which would be great to see, and I think would be a smart business move. He's planning on developing in Unity for the meantime, and is considering releasing some of his existing games on the iOS & Mac App Store.

All the games from the Quadtastic Launch Collection are now available individually, either direct from the developer or from GamersGate, and they're on their way to Desura shortly too. He's submitted all his PC games to Steam: "When I hear something I can talk about, I'll be sure to say more." and he seems to highlight the predicament that indies unable to get onto Steam find themselves in when considering PC development: "I do know that if they don't get on Steam, I'm probably done with PC/Mac for a while without something drastic happening." Sad times for PC gamers.
