Eurogamer and PC gaming site Rock, Paper, Shotgun announced that the debuting expo Rezzed: The PC and Indie Games Show will be held in Brighton this July.
Along with high-profile PC titles and classic game tournaments, Rezzed will showcase a variety of up and coming indie standouts in "The Leftfield Collection," an exhibit curated by editors from Eurogamer and RPS. Other highlights include indie-hosted developer sessions, public Q&As, and a vendor area featuring "PC hardware, merchandise, board games and more."
"Following last year's hugely successful fourth Eurogamer Expo, we're broadening our horizons for 2012 by introducing a new summer event to highlight the best of PC and indie games," said Eurogamer managing director Rupert Loman.
"PC and indie games are enjoying huge success now after years in the ascendancy and we want to draw more attention to that fact and give people the opportunity to get up close to the biggest names and games before they're released."
Rezzed will be held July 6th and 7th at the Brighton Centre. Tickets are available at the event's website.
