Developer David Walters has released an updated version of his box shipment sim Super Box Factory: Regional Manager, originally created for Something Awful's weekly game jam.

Responding to the jam's recent challenge to inject life into an everyday, mundane task, Walters designed a game in which players assume the role of the only employee left at a box factory following a staff walkout. Not wanting to be found out by the head office, the manager must single-handedly fulfill customer orders by dispatching and shipping the required number of boxes daily.

The process involves starting and maintaining a box dispatch machine on the top screen, and then throwing the boxes into the shipping truck below. The schedule becomes hectic after a few days' work, though the weird, floaty box physics make shipping easier and more fun than it would be otherwise.
