Heeding the call the bring this worthy concept to life, Wizorb developer Tribute Games developed Friends 'Til The End as part of last weekend's worldwide game jam MolyJam 2012.

Friends 'Til The End challenges players to simultaneously control protagonist Billy and his volatile helicopter friend Choppy. If you don't watch your step, Billy may trip and fall into a hole in the ground, and if Choppy should collide with anything in the sky...well, you can see what happens in the video above.

I really enjoy the retro aesthetic here, and I'd love to see this as an Xbox Live Indie Games release, seeing as how it was created using the XNA toolset. How about it, Tribute?
