Independent developer Jordi Colomer has published FFracer, a unique train racing title that uses video footage of real-world locales.
The footage featured in FFracer was taken from Bergensbanen, a seven-and-a-half hour Norwegian documentary showcasing a scenic train ride from Bergen and Oslo. In FFracer, the footage speeds up and slows down depending on how well players are able to navigate turns.
A free demo version featuring three tracks is available for download from Colomer's website. A 17-track version will be released soon for $10.
