Thanks to the wonders of the Internet, we can all experience this slice of IndieCade at E3 2012 for free. A Mother's Inferno is described as a "psychedelic, single player game about a train trip gone to hell in which all you have at your disposal is your will, your hands and a shard of glass."

Players use arrow keys and the mouse to play. Controls will sometimes flash in your face; other times, you will die repeatedly in despair. Fortunately, YouTube hosts a handy play through.

A Mother's Inferno was developed by 17 students last semester at the Danish Academy of Digital Interactive Entertainment (DADIU). The game is playable in browsers via Unity and available as a download for Windows and Mac.
