High school student Ben Lapid has launched a Kickstarter project to raise the $300 he needs to complete his overhead-view arcade-style shooter Pluck.

Pluck is a twin-stick shooter that's somewhat similar to Edmund McMillen's The Binding of Isaac; players explore three worlds consisting of three randomly-generated dungeon levels each, and fight a randomly-chosen boss at the end of each world. Lapid notes that the game's random elements allow for over three billion path combinations in all.

The project's $300 goal will fund the production of improved music and sound effects, along with the development of an official website. Backers who pledge $10 or more will receive a copy of the game for Windows upon completion.
