skylight.pngI generally avoid first person platformers and must admit to hating said bits even in such classics as Half Life. Frankly, I would have never given the just-released Skylight a chance had I not appreciated the overall aesthetic of its trailer. Now I'm rather chuffed I did. The game not only manages to achieve that synesthesia feeling everyone's talking about, but it also plays really well. Really, really, well indeed. And to jump on its musical platforms you'll only have to spend a ridiculously low $2.50.

What's more and in order to make absolutely sure this is something for you, you can always have a look at its free demo. Oh, and Skylight is available for both Mac and Windows.
