Steam Greenlights First 10 Titles
September 11, 2012 5:00 PM | John Polson
In under two weeks after the community effort Steam Greenlight launched, Valve has chosen the first ten titles to eventually get Steam releases. Valve will move these games to a new Greenlit section where they will sit until they are released and made available on Steam.
According to this data, the top 10 voted games (excluding Slender: Source) have become the first 10 greenlit titles listed here:
Black Mesa
Cry of Fear
Dream
Heroes & Generals
Kenshi
McPixel
No More Room in Hell
Project Zomboid
Routine
Towns
As for the fate of Slender: Source, which was just discussed in today's Slenderman Coalition interview, developer Ethereal Entertainment tweeted "we're talking with Valve about it currently. #remainhopeful." I've reached out to Ethereal's Justin Ross for more comment.
