alarm The Castle Doctrine.jpgPassage and Inside a Star-Filled Sky developer Jason Rohrer revealed today a teaser website for his upcoming game The Castle Doctrine. The game is billed as a "massively-multiplayer game of burglary and home defense" and is scheduled to release soon across all PC platforms: Windows, Mac, and Linux.

The Casle Doctrine was actually leaked back in July during the Us and The Game Industry Kickstarter campaign, but Rohrer wasn't ready to talk about his "upcoming massively-multiplayer asynchronous game" at the time. His last released title was Jason Rohrer with Music by Tom Bailey: Diamond Trust of London for the Nintendo DS.

Gleaning from the photos after the jump, The Castle Doctrine appears to adopt a mostly top-down perspective with crisply-colored pixels. The first of the three game photos suggests that the home defense traps can get rather grisly.
