Described as the 'biggest 16-bit RPG ever', Pier Solar is the story of a botanist named Hoston and his quest to save his ailing father from a mysterious illness. Along with his best friends, he must find a rare herb in order to achieve this goal. Yup. It's a story we've all heard before but given the fact that Pier Solar was originally designed for the SEGA Mega Drive and the SEGA genesis, the familiar plot sort of makes sense. However, that's all old news. Previously only available for the aforementioned consoles, it looks like the company behind the game is now looking to bring a HD version to the Xbox 360, PC, Mac, Linux and SEGA Dreamcast. Needless to say, that's why we have this Kickstarter project right here.
If you're interested in assisting the endeavor, here's their Kickstarter page.
