So, in case you haven't heard of the original, Descent was a 1996 3D first-person shooter game that featured six degrees of freedom in zero-gravity. Yep. It was the sort of game that could evoke motion-sickness in mere moments. Anyway, a modder who goes by the name of Max has been hard at work creating a more stylish version of Descent with the help of the Unreal Development Kit. The full game, upon completion, will have a retelling of the original story, a remake of the original levels, better A.I and more diverse gameplay.
