One-man studio Machine 22 (Dave Toulouse) has released Tales of Another Galaxy, an overhead-view action-adventure title for Windows that pits a lone space marine against hordes of "space spiders, pirates, ninjas, dinosaurs and rats pooping bombs." A demo version is available here.
While much of Tales of Another Galaxy takes place on foot, you'll also square off against enemy spacecraft in aerial combat sequences. Developer Toulouse notes that the game is fully moddable, and players can add new maps, monsters, and themes at will.
Tales of Another Galaxy is normally priced at $10, but is available for $6.50 during its launch week. The game is also up for vote at Steam Greenlight.
