Antharion is an isometric, turn-based RPG in which players are able to create and customize their own party members and explore an open world filled with over 20 towns and more than 100 dungeons. The game offers a great amount of freedom, though its developers warn that your actions (stealing, for instance) have consequences that NPCs will remember throughout your adventure.
"We wanted to fuse together elements from classics like: The Elder Scrolls (a huge open world), Baldur's Gate (a deep tactical combat), and Ultima (a classic old-school look and feel) into a single unique RPG experience," Orphic Software explains.
Antharion is also up for vote at Steam Greenlight. Additional screenshots are after the break below.
