steppin stones.jpgPlayers complete the puzzles in Steppin' Stones on Kongregate and on Newgrounds by stepping the stones over each other to reach the dashed goal. From each numbered square, the player can lay that many stones in one of four directions. When there are stones already in the path, the next stone "steps over" that stone as it lays out its own.

Developer Emiel de Graaf has crafted 16 increasingly challenging puzzles that aren't too painful as to eat up an entire day. An aural tip, though: this game is probably more enjoyable on mute, since it has a very short, somewhat enervating jazz loop.
