XBLIG Pick: Grid Space Shooter (Meh Games)

Over on the Xbox Live Indie Games service, Meh Games has launched Grid Space Shooter, a twin-stick arena shoot-'em-up with an impressive amount of variety in its power-ups and enemy encounters.
Despite its resemblance to the oft-cloned Geometry Wars, Grid Space Shooter does plenty to make it stand out from the crowd. The game offers a selection of three playable ships, each of which boasts its own unique powers and abilities -- one spacecraft can trigger bullet time, for instance, while another can engage a shield for temporary invincibility. Each ship is also equipped with an alternate flight mode, giving you even more options in battle. I like this one quite a bit!
Grid Space Shooter is priced at 80 Microsoft points ($1).
