Tokyo-based indie studio I-Friqiya has launched its "Tactical-Action-Racing" game Fuel Overdose for the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network.
Similar in premise to the NES classic R.C. Pro-Am, Fuel Overdose equips players with an arsenal of destructive weaponry, which can be used to take down rival racers in a series of outlandish racetracks. The game has been in development for almost three years, and the final product is a polished experience that aptly fills a rarely-explored niche area of the racing genre. If you've given it a shot and found yourself overwhelmed, the video above offers a few tips to get you started.
I-Friqiya announced that 10 additional vehicles will soon be available as free DLC in the coming weeks. Fuel Overdose is priced at $9.99.
