Fran Bow's developer duo is seeking $20,000 via Indiegogo to fund its creepy point and click adventure game and has a Windows, Mac, and Linux alpha demo to entice players to pledge. There's a disturbing beauty to some of the art found in Fran Bow, as she tries to escape an asylum and figure out who killed her parents.
As part of the puzzles, as seen in the trailer, Fran will have to take some red crazy pills to view an alternate reality, along with typical adventure gameplay of talking to characters to get clues and items and clicking around the screen to see what is interactive.
Fran Bow has 50 days to reach its all-or-nothing goal that will help developers Natalia Figueroa and Isak Martinsson release the game by July 2014. Check out the demo and perks and see if you want to offer Fran Bow and her developers some reprieve.
