Magicaltimebean has been crafting Escape Goat 2 for what feels like an eternity now. The wait has felt like a prison sentence, especially after having solved the original's mind-warping final few levels. A release date for the Windows version has been nailed down, though, which means we'll be solving our next set of maniacal dungeons as Fall begins.
September 10, 2013 is the date we'll be able to tackle the game's 100 new levels and experience the HD graphics drawn by Randy O'Connor. The level editor that may or may not make it in with the first version of the game will surely pique the interest of some, but we're more curious about what new item our mouse companion will receive in addition to his teleportation hat. What abilities will it bestow upon him, and how will it affect puzzle design? The game is available for preorder now at Magicaltimebean's website for $8.
