Jacob Keane/Darkfrost has made flip-flopping acceptable in his aptly named first-person platformer FlipFlop, created for Windows, Mac, Linux, and browsers during the 7DFPS jam. The goal is to get to the exit by either flipping (reversing gravity with space bar) or flopping (rotating gravity by walking up or against walls).
Eventually the stages introduce spikes, switches, and more, but I found the greatest challenge, in a fun way, to be keeping myself orientated. For those who enjoy FlipFlop, Jacob is taking donations to help expand the game and support it on Oculus Rift.
