Lead developer Jakub Kasztalski describes his Windows freeware political narrative-adventure Postmortem as "The Walking Dead meets Home and The Last Express, with a dash of To The Moon." You play the agent of death who explores a fundraising gala, talks with patrons, and uncovers various clues about two violently rioting communities and the important people whose life or death can change the future.
Postmortem is a "freeware+" pick because it offers a full experience for free, but has options to support the developer financially by buying extras which include an extra in-game character, concept art, wallpapers, 16-bit character sprites, and behind-the-scenes development materials.
Be judge, jury, and executioner for one unlucky soul in Postmortem for Windows for free+ here.
