The radio is turned on but Rude Bear is asleep. All of his favorite songs are being played, but the station, and subsequently his dream, changes every ten seconds. Can you help our hero conquer each mental challenge in Rude Bear Radio?
This Ludum Dare entry was developed by Alex Rose, brother of Gamasutra editor Mike Rose. It lovingly references eight classic games in the frantic style of Nintendo's WarioWare series. For example, you'll face descending aliens in Space InBEARders, or need to flip your character's orientation around to navigate a level in RRRRRR. Each microchallenge lasts ten seconds, fitting perfectly into the theme of the game jam.
Each game controls pretty well, though it takes some practice to switch between keyboard and mouse controls swiftly. Rude Bear Radio is free, and available through your browser or as a Windows download.
