Attack Pack One just has to happen; the voice of Duke Nukem (set to the jammin' tunes of Hyperduck Soundworks) compels you. From the two-man team Attack Mountain comes "two wildly different computermachine games": SOS by Joe Laurino, a spy thriller with more rolls than you can manage, and The Grey Man by Bryan Rodriguez, which sounds like an exploratory adventure about an "otherworldly entity's incredible journey through a beautiful and breathing landscape."
If the action and animation above didn't pique your interest, check out the GIFs after the jump.
The Grey Man:
The games are being developed for Windows PCs, XP and up. Both are due May 2014 and available together at the $5 tier. Why two games, instead of one? "The size, scope, and direction are entirely flexible, allowing us to create a wide range of very different, but very satisfying games," they write. The team's previous effort, Legend of the Time Star, might have been too ambitious, but I think here Attack Mountain has two viable products worth investing in.
Further, as beautiful and detailed as the pixel animation is, I'm really digging the concept art featured on the Kickstarter page. I'd paste it here, but I'd rather everyone see it on the Attack Pack page, then pledge or share it to help spread the word.
