Drop what you're going to spend your pocket change on, and consider helping make Ivan Zonatti's viral horror freeware game Imscared a (virtual) reality. Ivan is asking for just $500 for an Oculus VR kit, which is higher than a regular dev kit, but the lowest he can set as an Indiegogo goal. Ivan said on GameJolt that the new, expanded version of the game will actually be playable with or without the Oculus Rift, so all Windows-using pledgers can get to play.
In case you need a refresher, Ivan's given us many great, free games in the past: 1ime L0ver; Nothing Else; and Collapse, Collide. In fact, the freeware, non-VR version of Imscared is close to its first birthday, with this campaign as its celebration.
Ivan says he is going to expand Imscared with new "levels" and 4th wall break events, lenghten the game, and make it more unique. Yes, it will be more than playing the same game with fancy, sexy head gear. If you have a dollar or two to spare, or if you want to spend $20-plus for some perks, consider pledging.
