Vitalii Zlotskii is back two years later to show there's dozens more ways to make an experimental shooter. In this sequel, the graphics remain minimal, and the rules keep changing. Instead of being an arena shooter, Experimental Shooter 2 is set in a single-screen platform level, which the unicycle-cannon hybrid must traverse while adhering to each stage's new mechanic.
Finishing the stage by as quickly as possible get the most points. The title of each stage still gives a great hint as to what needs to be done. In the above photo, you shoot the platforms to make spikes come out, which can then pop the balls. If you take too long to beat a level, the game more explicitly tells you what to do to succeed. I don't mind the pop-up tips, though an option to disable them would be nice.
