Can you find all the hidden treasures and all the endings in this top-down, other-wordly adventure, Armada? Developer Porpentine says people may have to work together to discuss secrets and tips, as they learn new languages, find hidden areas, collect crystals, and more.
You begin your quest in a swamp where your friend is dead. The rest is a mystery you slowly unravel as you talk to creatures of the various areas of the world and engage in deadly slime-spewing encounters.
The dialogue box took me a moment to realize I could choose one of three prompts with the arrows, as seen above. You'll need to talk to people to get certain things and decrypt messages to find deeper secrets. Breakable areas and enemies require emitting wonderful green slime. Enemies will drain your health quickly, though, and battles are always tense with your short-ranged orgasmic ooze, so save at stumps often.
Also, be sure to click through the online manual, with a gorgeous map by Crypt Worlds creator Lilith, for basic starter tips and have fun exploring this crazy, mysterious world from Porpentine with utterly sublime audio from Ben Esposito, Brenda Neotenomie, and Kodak Cameo.
