It was bound to happen, you know. After years of pillaging the homes and livelihoods of unsuspecting NPCs, after decades of slaughtering their cattle in a mindless quest for experience points and after aeons of letting them face evil overlords all by themselves, someone simply had to turn the tables and fight for the common folk; for the people.
Said someone is none other than young Petula. An unemployed, emotionally charged, ill-tempered, but otherwise unremarkable young woman who woke up to find them so-called heroes looting her humble house in the name of some quest or another. Petula, the heroine of anti-RPG You Are Not The Hero currently seeking (and swiftly achieving, one might add) funding via Kickstarter.
Innocent bystander plot and appropriately unique mechanics aside, You Are Not The Hero will be an action-platform RPG without battles, but with a score of interesting choices to make and mini-games to play through. Oh, and a $10 pledge will secure you a copy of the game upon release.
