Jasper Byrne today pushed live Lone Survivor: Director's Cut, a large update to his psychological survival adventure. It is free for anyone who has previously purchased the game for Mac or Windows. The new cut boasts a new lighting engine and other graphical and audio improvements, along with two new endings and three new side-quests that were formerly only on PlayStation.

On Jasper's blog, you can find links to purchase Lone Survivor: Director's Cut direct from the developer, Steam, GOG, PS3, or PS Vita. While the game is on sale for $9.99 at most outlets, Steam has the lowest offer for the next day, at an appropriately Halloween-ish price of $6.66.
