In first-person exploration game Anamnesis, players research a quarantined shelter to figure out why some tenants have lost contact. Players use the desktop as the primary visual hub and the Oculus VR headset as a second screen; the latter allows players to inspect objects and read "psychological imprints" left by people that were previously there.

Anamnesis is an IGF 2014 Student Competition entrant, and the University of Southern California students Alexa Kim and Scott Stephan have uploaded a free alpha for Windows and Mac users to try. Those without the VR wear can see how it plays in the video below:
