Taking control of the world's first quantum teleportation craft is a lot of fun, but you likely haven't experienced it for yourself if you don't own a Sony platform. Lucky for you then that Futurlab and Curve are teaming up to bring Velocity Ultra to PC later this year.

Curve Studio's Rob Clarke told Indie Games the good news earlier today. This version of the game will release through Steam, sporting fully customizable controls while running at 60 frames per second. It will support Steamworks and have Steam trading cards as well. Release is planned for Christmas on Windows, with Mac and Linux versions to follow at a later date.

In addition to this, Futurlab is working on Velocity 2X for PS4 and Vita. They also put together an essential checklist for making an awesome video game for fledgling developers.
