breakdown.pngTheCube's BEAKDOWN is, as the dev describes it, "a game about being awful at Breakout." It answers the burning question about what really happens when the ball hits the blocks that are magically suspended in air. The physics of having to propel the ball forward with the paddle also makes more sense than the restrictive Y-axis-only movement of its predecessors, as well as the ball's pushing the paddle back upon impact.

Unfortunately for me, BREAKDOWN breaks down a bit when new rows of bricks spawn seemingly faster than I can clear them. Maybe you'll do better than me and see if there's a win condition. Otherwise, take note of all the different tweaks TheCube has implemented for a decades-old classic. I hope the dev will break down more classics in the future.
