matchgirl2b.pngDDRKirby and xellaya's Ludum Dare entry Match Girl puts you in the shoes of a little girl trying to make her way through a dark maze. There are torches that light the way, but not all areas are illuminated. This is where the matches that you carry will prove their usefulness. In each room, you can fire up a match to light up the entire place. Players have only a handful of seconds to memorize the whole layout before it goes dark again.

In adherence to the Ludum Dare 28 theme, you only get to use one match per room. Some areas contain moving blocks and false platforms, while others are occupied by monsters that players will have to avoid. The game features fifty stages to play through (split between two difficulty modes) and its soundtrack is available for a pay-what-you-want price from Bandcamp.
