A common trope in the roguelike genre is dungeon setting. Often, going deeper and deeper into the ground -- be it in a dank crypt or subterranean labyrinth -- increases the level as well as the difficulty. One of the coolest things about Path to the Sky is that it scales up the difficulty as you climb higher and higher into the heavens, as the game builds itself upward.

The idea with Path to the Sky is to climb as high as you can through randomly generated levels. It's being built as a game that's played in short bursts, so expect a challenging, arcadey experience. DekDev has not yet cited an estimated release date, but it will be coming out on Windows, Mac and Linux. There is a Greenlight page up as well.
