candy bird saga.pngSets and Settings' Candy Bird Saga, made to celebrate the Candy Jam, is a one-button arcade game that parodies Flappy Bird, the recent one-button mobile sensation. Neither game is exceptionally deep, innovative, nor (at least for me) even fun, but it feels noteworthy to have a game that calls out this phenomenon.

Sets and Settings' Folmer Kelly and Andrew Nissen also say they are not cloning Flappy Bird. They feel Flappy Bird is a really boring version of their own Gravnav released in 2012, which also has players dodge through narrow holes but with constantly shifting gravity pulls.

My score on Candy Bird Saga is and probably always will be "1". Good luck getting higher!
